To help avoid battery issues in the future, here are a few simple tips to extend the lifespan of your Ti-84 Plus CE rechargeable batteries:

1. Store calculators properly: Keep the calculators in a cool, dry place—ideally at room temperature—when not in use.
2. Charge periodically: Recharge your calculators' batteries at least every 2-3 weeks, even if they’re not being used. Never let the battery fully deplete!
3. Remove batteries for long-term storage: If your calculators will be stored for more than three months (aka Summer Vacation), remove the batteries beforehand, especially if they won’t be charged during this time.

The first step in troubleshooting your calculator is to try resetting it. To reset the calculator, press and hold the CLEAR and ON buttons at the same time for about a second or two. This will reset the calculator and may resolve any issues that are causing the calculator to not turn on.

This new App gives you the flexibility to work from any computer and get your graphing calculator anywhere online with a browser. The CE Online Calculator App is a one-year subscription. The benefit to this new App, is that students have more freedom to access their Ti-84 Plus CE Online calculator when it is convenient for them, not just at school.

The Ti-Nspire CX Docking Station is meant to charge and transfer data to up to 10 Ti-Nspire CX Family Graphing Calculators at once. To be able to send data to the calculators using the docking station, the calculators must be charged to at least 10%.

The Ti-84 Plus CE Charging Station is meant to charge up to 10 Ti-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculators at once; however, there is no way to transfer data to all 10 handhelds at once. To charge the calculators, simply leave them in the charging station until the charging indicator lights on the side of the calculators turn from orange to green. This can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how low the batteries were.
