An Important Update for the Ti-84 Plus in EZSpot Yellow
As of 2026, Texas Instruments has informed us that the Ti-84 Plus Teacher Pack will be undergoing a change in its appearance. The calculators in the Teacher Pack will no longer have EZ-Spot Yellow backs, nor will they include the "School Property" markings.
When is this change happening?
There is no set timeline for this change, but we are estimating the EZ-Spot Yellow TI-84 Plus Teacher's Pack will be phased out by the January of 2027.
What will happen to the TI-84 Plus Teacher Pack?
Instead of the EZ-Spot Yellow Ti-84 Plus, the new Teacher Pack will include x10 Black Ti-84 Plus (the same as the retail model).
What will happen to the TI-84 Plus EZ-Spot Single Units?
Once the EZ-Spot Yellow TI-84 Plus single units are sold out, we will only carry refurbished units, individual black retail units, and the Black Ti-84 Plus Teacher Packs.
Are there any other changes to the calculators in the teacher pack?
No, the only changes are to the color of the calculator itself and removal of "School Property" markings. All other contents and calculator functions will remain the same.
How will I know if the Teacher Pack I'm receiving has Yellow or Black calculators when ordering from Underwood Distributing Co.?
We will be maintaining our website up-to-date with actual inventory and model availability. When the EZ-Spot TI-84 Plus Teacher Pack becomes unavailable, the listing page will be updated as out of stock. There will be a new listing page with the replacement teacher pack that clearly indicates the change of appearance in images and the product description. We will ensure that all calculators included in a shipment are composed of the same color - either all yellow or all black.
