If you attempt to reset your Ti-84 Plus CE using a #2 pencil, there is a chance you're reading this article in hopes of trying to fix your calculator that will no longer turn on. The good news is that its a pretty simple fix, as long as you have all of the necessary tools.

Simply put, the answer is no; however, don't be discouraged, because there are still some options available that can help distinguish your classroom set of Ti-30X IIS calculators from your students' calculators.

The first step in troubleshooting your calculator is to try resetting it. To reset the calculator, press and hold the CLEAR and ON buttons at the same time for about a second or two. This will reset the calculator and may resolve any issues that are causing the calculator to not turn on.

This new App gives you the flexibility to work from any computer and get your graphing calculator anywhere online with a browser. The CE Online Calculator App is a one-year subscription. The benefit to this new App, is that students have more freedom to access their Ti-84 Plus CE Online calculator when it is convenient for them, not just at school.

The Ti-Nspire CX Docking Station is meant to charge and transfer data to up to 10 Ti-Nspire CX Family Graphing Calculators at once. To be able to send data to the calculators using the docking station, the calculators must be charged to at least 10%.

The Ti-84 Plus CE Charging Station is meant to charge up to 10 Ti-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculators at once; however, there is no way to transfer data to all 10 handhelds at once. To charge the calculators, simply leave them in the charging station until the charging indicator lights on the side of the calculators turn from orange to green. This can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how low the batteries were.

The regular Ti-84 Plus CE's come in a number of different colors, but for this comparison, were using the normal black color. 

The School Property Edition Ti-84 Plus CE has a gray front, an "EZSpot Yellow"  back, and the words, "School Property," are stamped on the bottom of the calculator face.
