What is an open box calculator?

Sometimes, calculators are returned, used for a demonstration, or have a minor cosmetic defect (such as a scratch on the side of the calculator). Instead of selling them as new, we separate these calculators and sell them as "open box."

All "open box" calculators that are sold by Underwood Distributing Co. are fully functional, cleaned, and tested. Plus, we will provide a 1 year warranty on each open box calculator that we sell. We also double the return period from 30 days, to 60 days.

About the Ti-30XIIS

The TI-30XIIS™ scientific calculator is a fundamental, two-line calculator that combines statistics and advanced scientific functions for high school math and science. The two-line display shows the entry and calculated result at the same time for easy understanding of the calculation. Featuring both solar and battery power sources, it is ideal for general math and science, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry and Statistics.

The TI-30XIIS™ scientific calculator is approved for use on SAT®, ACT® and AP® exams.

Broaden exploration of math and science concepts
Review previous entries and look for patterns. A two-line display shows entries on the top line and results on the bottom line. After an expression is evaluated, quickly scroll through previous entries and select and entry to edit and evaluate the new expression.

Perform advanced scientific functions
Features one- and two-variable statistics, recognizes π as a symbol in radian mode, and provides menus that allow you to select settings appropriate for your calculation needs.

Perform operations with fractions and mixed numbers
Add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions entered in traditional numerator/denominator format.
