The regular Texas Instruments Ti-84 Plus CE's come in a number of different colors, but for this comparison, were using the normal black color.
The School Property Edition Ti-84 Plus CE has a gray front, an "EZSpot Yellow" back, and the words, "School Property," are stamped on the bottom of the calculator face.
Most schools purchase the School Property Edition Ti-84 Plus CE due to the following reasons:
- It's easier to identify which calculators belong to the school (this is very useful when renting the calculators out to students)
- They are much brighter and easier for teachers to find / identify
- The "School Property" on the face of the calculator let's parents know that the calculators should be returned to school if they find one in their student's backpack over summer vacation
