Updated Packaging for Texas Instruments Calculators
New TI Calculator Packaging
Texas Instruments is made big upgrades in 2025 to their calculator packaging.
For the last decade or so, the packaging you have seen TI calculators in at the big box retailers are called blister packs. In the consumer goods industry, a blister pack is a piece of preformed plastic sandwiched between a piece of carded packaging.
You will now be seeing less and less of the blister packs, and more of the... drum roll... folding cartons! These new folding cartons are rocking a new design that really pops! They're much more compact as well!
When did the packaging change?
The packaging transition is a running change. Stock of the traditional retail blister packs will be sold through before the new folding cartons are brought onto the shelves. You may see some models already in the new packaging while other models remain in older packaging.
The Changes for Each TI Calculator
We've listed out every single TI Calculator model that has the new & updated packaging, and what the expected changes are. Please note that there may be some small variations.
Scientific Calculators
Ti-30XA Calculator
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator on the right side of the carton. On the left side, you'll see key features of the calculator listed along with the standardized tests that this calculator is permitted in.
The carton itself is 6.26 inches high, 3.27 inches wide, and 0.75 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
Important Note: Previously, there were x6 Ti-30XA Calculators in each case pack. With the new folding carton packaging, there are now x8 Ti-30XA calculators in each case pack.
Ti-30XIIS Scientific Calculator
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator on the right side of the carton. On the left side, you'll see key features of the calculator listed along with the standardized tests that this calculator is permitted in. The color of the calculator is listed in the left corner of the hanging tab.
The carton itself is 6.26 inches high, 3.35 inches wide, and 0.98 inch deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
Important Note: Previously, there were x6 Ti-30XIIS Calculators in each case pack. With the new Folding Carton packaging, there are now x8 Ti-30XIIS Calculators in each case pack.
Ti-30XS MultiView Scientific Calculator
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator on the right side of the carton. On the left side, you'll see key features of the calculator listed along with the standardized tests that this calculator is permitted in.
The carton itself is 7.32 inches high, 3.39 inches wide, and 0.91 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
Important Note: Previously, there were x6 Ti-30XS MultiView calculators in each case pack. With the new folding carton packaging, there is now x8 Ti-30XS MultiView calculators in each case pack.
Ti-34 MultiView Scientific Calculator
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator on the right side of the carton. On the left side, you'll see key features of the calculator listed along with the standardized tests that this calculator is permitted in.
The carton itself is 6.73 inches high, 3.43 inches wide, and 0.91 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.

Ti-83 Plus Graphing Calculator

The case size of three calculators per case remains the same. The carton itself is 8.03 inches high, 3.66 inches wide, and 1.26 inches deep. The hanging tab is 1.18 inches high.
Ti-84 Plus Graphing Calculator
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator on the right side of the carton. On the left side, you'll see key features of the calculator listed along with the standardized tests that this calculator is permitted in.
The carton itself is 7.86 inches high, 4.41 inches wide, and 1.38 inches deep. The hanging tab is 1.29 inches high. Each case will continue to have 3 units in each.
Ti-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator on the right side of the carton. On the left side, you'll see key features of the calculator listed along with the standardized tests that this calculator is permitted in. The color of the calculator is listed in the left corner of the hanging tab.
The carton itself is 7.86 inches high, 4.41 inches wide, and 1.14 inches deep. The hanging tab is 1.06 inches high. Each case will continue to have 3 units in each.
Ti-Nspire CX II

Financial Calculators
BA II Plus

The case size of four calculators per case has changed to eight calculators per case. The carton itself is 6.57 inches high, 3.07 inches wide, and 0.83 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
BA II Plus Professional
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator on the right side of the carton. On the left side, you'll see key features of the calculator listed along with the standardized tests that this calculator is permitted in.
The case size of four calculators per case has changed to eight calculators per case. The carton itself is 6.26 inches high, 3.27 inches wide, and 0.71 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
Desktop Calculators
Ti-503SV
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator and list its key feature. The case size of twelve calculators per case has stayed the same. The carton itself is 4.88 inches high, 3.19 inches wide, and 0.83 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
Ti-1706SV
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator and list its key features. The case size of twelve calculators per case has stayed the same. The carton itself is 5.83 inches high, 3.27 inches wide, and 0.83 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
Ti-1795SV
The folding carton includes an image of the calculator and list its key features. The case size of twelve calculators per case has stayed the same. The carton itself is 5.63 inches high, 4.88 inches wide, and 0.94 inches deep. The hanging tab is 0.94 inches high.
How does this affect bulk orders?
When stock with the new folding cartons begin to ship, as stated in the post, the quantity of units in each case may change, but the accessories included, the calculators, and the UPCs will remain the same.
These changes may lower shipping costs for bulk orders depending on the models ordered, as well as the size of the order.
